Fourth Street Parade

Step back in time to 1869 and celebrate the founding of Galt 150 years ago with an old fashion community celebration in Old Town Galt on Fourth Street.

The Sesquicentennial Celebration Committee is organizing a one-day event full of history, entertainment, fun and games for all to enjoy as we celebrate this amazing milestone. There will be good old fashion games, food, silly contests, live music, reenactors, horse drawn buggy rides, gunslingers, an authentic tintype photographer, and a huge display of early vintage cars and tractors. To mark the day, we will be having a dedication ceremony for a historic marker which will be placed in a prominent location on Fourth Street. Other events are in the works as well, so stay tuned! You can follow the event on our Facebook page or our website for more updates. So save the date! We look forward to seeing all the citizens of Galt at this great celebration!
